Before mankind, there was handkind! The CAVEHANDS story explores the outlandish idea that human beings evolved from prehistoric times as a hand.

Our Story

It was a beautiful sunny afternoon at Iron Mountain, Michigan.

Mike Dispenza and Dan Jovanovic were traveling for business on a press approval.

While their flight back home was delayed, they decided to have lunch at the Blind Duck.

Mike started talking about a cave cricket in his basement back home in New Jersey.

"It looked like a hand on the wall!", Mike said. Dan started sketching on a napkin while Mike became animated describing this weird looking hand creature he witnessed. After a couple of margarita's and some buffalo wings, the CAVEHANDS were born!
